Have any of y'all done road trips with your toddler as my daughters to and we're hoping to approach with the summer and where we want to go it's about like 4 to 6 Hour Dr. but what are some things you do to entertain your toddler because my daughter does not like staying in the car she absolutely hates it it's like a screaming match with her every single time I try to get her in the car seat and like do you longer drives so I'm just looking up for some things I will like entertain her Yeah let me know your ideas
So road trips with toddlers for me is definitely one of those times where I'm like OK screen time let's go so we actually got them these portable DVD players and like some DVDs of their favorite shows like paw patrol Peppa Pig and they had headphones so that was good for us because we had multiple kids so they could all watch their own thing but yeah definitely something that they can watch on
Maybe like you know those like sets that come with a little marker that's like not really a marker and it will only color on the paper I would stock up on some of those for her to scribble on make sure that you have like fuzzy blankets and pillows and stuffed animals for her leg be comfortable so maybe she'll sleep
And I've also seen like these cats that are a little like play cats and they're like metal tens or some thing and they come with magnets and it's like a little like play sets I know I'm explaining this terribly and I'm saying like a bunch but yeah there are definitely things made specifically for road trips so I would hit up like target or Walmart or Amazon and just see if you can just grab a couple things that's not too long of a road trip though but if she like hates the car seat then
Then it'll probably feel like a long trip even if it's not that long of a trip but yeah I wish you the best of luck I know it's like recommended to stop every couple hours for them to make sure that they get out and stretch their legs have a snack go to the bathroom all of that just so they don't get cranky or like their legs hurt anything so definitely make sure you do that as well but good luck it'll be great and it'll be worth it once you get to your destinations so have a great time
Portable DVD players are really good idea I normally just get my son like my phone or my husbands phone whoever is not using the GPS but it's a super good idea to get a portable DVD player
I am I do shoes we do books lots of fun snacks I don't know we've done so many relationships ever since our kiddos like anybody so I think it's just gone is it has been a big problem just cause you're always doing her jobs like we just did a 2 1/2 hour drive today
I'm wondering if we should do it when it's time for her to go to bed that way you she's sleeping on the way there cause that's what my family used to do when we would drive like we would you like 16 Hour Rd. trips My brothers were just sleep
Set something good to start this when your kids are a little we start doing road trips when my son was too and now it's just second nature to him we can I mean we do grow chips we might drive for like 15 hours a day or two stop and go to the bathroom and sometimes stop to see some sites or whatever but Having no coloring you can get one of those like dry erase boards or mini lots of snacks and try to me
Yeah, definitely with a road trip, it's fine. What I would do is go old school with the DVD in the back and just have that hooked up to your toddler. Go to Goodwill, pick up some of their favorites, see if they have them on DVD, Let those play.
So my mom and my mom when I was a toddler she always used to like make me like she you had a big Ziploc bags and put paint in it And she put a pan there and then she close the bag up and then you could have the toddler can make like little smiley faces or whatever they want and yeah it was super fun with me or my mom used to do you like little
