One thing that I always love to ask moms is how long they were in labor for because I find it so interesting how it really is so different for everyone and if you've had more than one baby a computer totally different from one baby to the other as well so for me I've only had one biological baby and I was in labor for about 17 hours
With my first, I was in early labor for two days and then in active labor for five hours and pushed for an hour. With my second, I was in active labor for five hours and then I pushed her out in an hour as well.
That's a good point to mention that part of it too I didn't experience early labor or at least I didn't realize that I was it was just instant contractions instant go time and I pushed it out in about 30 minutes
Yeah I totally get what you're saying and I feel the same way because it's so crazy to me that like from each kid even the same mom can have a totally different birthing experience with their second than they did with their first. So for my first.
And then with my son, I went into the hospital at six. They were about to send me home, but then my contractions started picking up at 10. And then I had him at 1 11 a.m. And I only pushed two times, but with my daughter, I pushed for a lot of time.
I really hope women if I have another baby and that the whole pushing part is easier because I absolutely could not figure out how to push and once I did start pushing correctly I got him out pretty quickly but oh my gosh
So for my first kiddo I refused an epidural and I was induced and I was in labor for 24 hours before I agreed to finally do the epidural and I was in labor for 38 hours total. My other two were like still like my second was like 24 hours.
