today, I would like to bring some awareness to our nervous systems this is something that I notice I have to do weekly I have to check myself to make sure I'm not operating on old programming based on survival a lot of times, when we experience a range of traumas no trauma is greater than the other your pain is valid, your experience is valid when we experience a wide variety and range of traumas for however long it stays with us it teaches us to be on edge fearful, waiting for the next moment we must fight, flight, or freeze but where I'm at right now, I'm no longer in that place of needing to protect myself I'm really grateful for that however, my body is still trying to grasp that concept so I'm finding that I have to engage in several activities to switch me from the sympathetic to the parasympathetic nervous system a few ways we can do that are breathing, nature, journaling, music

I would like to know if your work is related to psychology or maybe medicine or something because you are explaining this issue so well.

Since you know, we never take the time to check ourselves and see how we are operating daily and how our mental health is doing.

Thank you so much for sharing this. It's so important and you know it's something I think we constantly have to like go back to. It's like we're never done. It's the thing that I keep.
