OK I have a random question in the middle of the day for you guys but I'm very curious if you clean up multiple times a day like clean as you go or do you just let the house get messy messy messy and then clean at the end of the day or like the next morning I am definitely the person who cleans like once a day like I cannot stand just going around and picking up messes only for them to get messy again like I just leave it and then at the end of the day or the next morning and take care of it then
Oh this is a good question I'd say a little of both sometimes I'm cleaning as I go and Sundays I'll just wait until my daughter falls asleep and then straighten up when she's sleeping
Yeah I'm definitely the same like I play it by ear each day cause I feel like there's no like really right way to do it you know either you're gonna be stressed out cleaning everything when you have everything piled up or you're gonna be stressed out and not getting a break just cleaning all day long so I really just play it by the day and see how I'm feeling that day
Are used to be a clean as I go kind of person but it was literally making me insane cleaning up the same messes multiple times a day so I pretty much just clean like once a week now I'm not gonna lie once a week
Yeah exactly I can definitely drive you crazy just cleaning all day long so I feel like either way you're gonna be stress all day long picking up all the messes or you gonna be shots at the end of the day cleaning at all of our ones so there's like no right way to do it really
Firstly I would say I pick up a lot and specially with her diapers and everything I do pick up at two but yeah I try to clean up and then when she makes messes I pick up her mess right away I don't know but sometimes I do wait until next morning to clean up a little bit but yeah I agree with you it takes time come to me and stuff like that
It definitely depends now and is it a big mess yeah I'll clean it up then by the end it's just like a little mess of the kids make a little mess and yeah just wait to the end of the day or maybe the next morning depending on how tired I am at the end of the day
OK I agree if there's like a big mess I try to tackle it right away like I don't leave it until the end of the day like if you know there's food all over the kitchen floor I'm gonna sweep that up right away I'm not gonna leave that for the end of the day or like if something it's spelled like a drink or some thing like obviously talk a lot right away but I leave like all the little stuff like picking up the toys I don't pick up the toys until the end of the day and like you said sometimes the next morning depending on how tired I am
I am definitely the cleaning all day like constantly picking up my sons toys doing one more of laundry in the morning one at night or like doing the breakfast dishes right after breakfast and then dinner dishes like I cannot do it all at the end of the day because then I just feel like I have so much on my plate but then I guess also doing it all throughout the day like I never get a chance to sit down like I'm literally out of breath because I haven't stopped Going
Yeah see exactly I feel like there is no like winning I feel like there's no right way to do it like either you're gonna leave everything at once to be overwhelmed and stressed out or you're going to be like stressed out and cleaning all day long they constantly never get a break so I don't know what's better I really don't I just play it by ear by the day
I definitely clean as I go I cannot function and clutter and mess I just can't like it just drives me nuts plus we run our dishwasher twice a day I run it probably like mid morning or right after lunch and then in the evening we run it again I just I can't with the clutter like I feel like I can't function I can't do this and that and I do teach my kids to pick up after themselves like if we're downstairs and they wanna go upstairs I teach them to clean up downstairs before we got upstairs invites
Yeah I definitely agree that it's important to teach kids that as well like I was always trying to do that with older kids like teaching them when you get some thing I'll put it away before you get the next thing out and it's like it's hard for them to lay catch on but you just gotta keep going with them and teach them because it helps us out as moms so much when they understand to like clean up after themselves too
Something that helps with that for me if you're looking for like any tips is to have like all their toys and little bins and then when they're done with the toy in that bin they have to clean it all out put it back in the bag and put that bin away and then they would get like the next one out you know so that's like a little bit of where my like OCD and organization comes in but yeah
Didn't always work though sometimes I would come out like multiple bins and everything mixed up but it secretly gives me like some satisfaction like organizing kids toys I don't know what it is but like separating everything into like categories and piles and putting them in separate bins it just does something for me
Yes I still feel this like I am the worst at cleaning the kitchen I hate doing the dishes I leave it until like the very last thing and then sometimes I don't even wanna do it like I just leave it for the morning and it's so bad but yeah I hate cleaning the kitchen I hate doing the dishes I hate loading the dishwasher even I hate mopping the floors because it's tile in there like the kitchen is my enemy
I'm an end of the day person except for the dishes. I can't stand dishes in the sink, so I will do them during the day, but everything else end of the day.
