Did anyone else's little struggle with making a connection or bond with her father I'd really like to know

So one thing we did that I think really made a big difference and helped would like making the connection was doing skin to skin after every bath I know usually like the mom would do that but every time that my son would get out of the bath he would just lay on his dad with no shirt nothing in it I just think it really helped build like a big connection and away
