I think one of the greatest gangster movies ever made is going to be The Bronx Tale. That movie is pretty legendary and the fact that it kind of shows how an Italian mafia is kind of running things in a small place in New York and then this kid witnesses a a murder pretty much and becomes friends with one of the main mob members.
