So I'm standing here looking at my refrigerator, trying to figure out what my grocery list is going to look like tomorrow. And now I'm just wondering if I should just order my groceries online and me and my kid can just show up at the end of our day and pick up our groceries. I'll still have to go inside for like produce but like bulk groceries, you know? What? Do you guys do that? Am I the only one?
I've actually used Instacart maybe twice and it was because I just felt lazy to go grocery shop or I think another time it was because it was raining and I didn't want to take my daughter out.
I love doing like target pick up I don't get out of the car especially if I have the kids that's been a huge lifesaver and I love a target if there's no like a minimum purchase the amount you have to make to get the order
Yes, I love Target Pickup and then Pro Tip. I don't know if you knew this, but they do price match. Did you know that? So if you buy something online, they will price match it for you if you show it to them when you get there.
So I always do Aldi pickup and you do like online shopping through Instacart and I literally love it so much and Aldi is so cheap. Like I can get my weeks worth of groceries for a hundred bucks or less like not even kidding.
Okay, honestly, I live in Colorado and I have not seen an Aldi out here. When I was in Texas, I saw them everywhere. But also, doesn't Instacart have fees or do you pay a membership? Does that even work?
Grocery shopping online is like trying to buy clothes online. I feel like for some reason I gotta be there. I gotta see it. I gotta touch it. I gotta try it on. Although it's food, I just gotta, I don't know. I gotta be there to shop. That's the only way.
Okay, now I definitely feel you on that because it's like, what if I see something in the aisle that I didn't see online, right? But don't you end up buying unnecessary shit doing that? Or is that just me?
I've done it a couple times. I really like it just because having two small ones such a hassle to get down and takes longer to get down than to get the groceries.
So I've done online grocery shopping once before and I haven't done it since because they messed up my order and I don't know, like I just have anxiety and I'm scared to do it again so yeah.
I prefer to go shop myself. I was getting way too many molded sheets and so much inflation in price that it's so much easier for me to go shopping myself. Now that I get a little bit older, I have more time.
I definitely understand about the inflation I actually found though that there's certain grocery stores that do really good with online couponing and I also understand about the whole produce thing I always go inside and get my own probe
So I actually used to work for Walmart as an online grocery shopper and it was one of the most fun jobs. But I always hated picking produce or meat because I know for me personally, like, I like mine a certain way and...
and always made me so nervous picking for other people because it was just like so much pressure. But I do personally use it for myself as well and I especially love the delivery service now.
especially as a mom. Oh my gosh. I love being able to have the groceries come to the house and I don't even have to leave my house. I love being able to just go to the grocery store and pick it up and I don't have to get out and get my kid out of the car seat.
So I feel like it comes in handy for certain things but I wouldn't do a full grocery shopping online because I just rather buy my stuff in person and online they charge you extra
