As a first time mom I want to have all the resources and items that would be helpful for me and my baby I am an ally those items I honestly hardly used or didn't even use I bought myself a diaper genie which was hardly used a breast-feeding pillow which wasn't use pressing pump which was hardly used as well like there was so many things I could've save my money on instead of buying that I didn't even use what are some things that you wish you knew not to purchase as a first time mom that you tell your future self now
My biggest thing I would tell myself is to not even spend money on a crib. My son has co-slept with us and now we are transferring him into his toddler bed so a crib was like so unnecessary for our situation.
If I would tell my future self right now, it's like you don't need everything that like moms show cuz I yeah, I did buy some stuff too and I just wanted like a I guess jam-packed nursery But everything's done.
I would have told myself to invest in a postpartum doula or support versus buying all of the things because help would have been so much more helpful than all the gadgets.
