What will you pick if you have to choose between a nutritious food for your child or some thing that he really likes and it can be junk what would you prefer to give him some thing that he eats quickly and it is hasslefree or something that is actually nutritious and you would put in some time to feed him as mamas it's very time consuming and I agree with that but I make a lot of effort to up give some thing that is very nutritious for my baby even if I have to make a A lot of effort to feed him so do you put in that kind of effort or not
I feel like we're a good 50-50 and nowadays I feel like there's so many options for quick and nutritious items for toddlers and I'm not sure if you've heard of little spoon but we use those they're like prepped
It's like organic and ready to serve meals that make it a lot more easier and save me on prep time but before I was using a little spoon we did do you like boiled veggies and fruits for my toddler
Are used to feed my baby with a chewable food guns liquid it but I don't have time to make something up so I will just give him that love you guys but I know for some reason I would feel so bad after that that even good organic food in there but there's no effort from my end so I don't know I used to FaceTime for that
Gladly as long as they're having their food in them that's the most important thing because in the end you have to live so nutrition gonna be taken care of later on but the thing is that you need to provide a big problem is they need to eat so it's on there's some thing that is quick to make but it does not have all the nutrients dick but they are getting something so something is better than nothing
For me, I do try and do the hassle free option. It's just easier But it's not junk necessarily. So I meal prep in the beginning of the week I cut up and wash all their veggies and fruit. So So, win.
So when lunchtime comes around for example, if I do just a peanut butter and jelly sandwich I always have their veggies and their fruit already prepped so they always have that for their lunch and same with the dinner we kind of just meal prep and prepared.
I cook every meal we eat breakfast lunch and dinner they do have snacks in between but mostly fruit or you know a girl cheese or something like that I monitor their candy my daughter has type one diabetes
Oh you do have to take care of the sweets they're taking them because you're not tattling on diabetes at this age is very critical and you have to prepare your music cording to the actual yard is a hassle in itself but I hope so she gets over it pretty soon because I've heard that with times diabetes does managing children I hope she's one of them
We're going to 50-50 there's some days where I put a lot of effort into her meals and I'm really proud of it other days I'm like I'm just gonna throw some chicken nuggets in the toaster oven and we're gonna have a great time
Definitely feel like it all depends on your income as well in what you can afford really healthy foods are way more expensive and it says if you're doing it on your own you just Gotta be careful but
You're absolutely right the need for patients that you see on the social media like the cheese and all the different types of berries and also they do require some money so you cannot afford that amount of groups every month so yeah Haley agree with this
Yeah I try 100% for nutritious food for my kids I make them whatever we eat and they just don't eat they will literally refuse to eat they would rather starve and not eat and eat what I make and it drives me cry
Like I was saying it drives me crazy like I don't force them to eat it like I make them a plate we all sit down they come sit at the table with us and they say what is this because it's not like the stuff that they like and they don't eat junk food but they like you know like chicken nuggets hotdogs mac & cheese
Typical food kit foods that my kids like for kids my oldest will sometimes the other stuff like spaghetti and meatballs and what not and I can stick some veggies in the sauce but it's just it's a struggle sometimes it really it really is
So I would prefer and I am able to do like nutritious food just because I am at home with them but the same time for mom's at work all day and then stuff to come home and do so many things it is easier to just put together anything fast and on days that I do have to do a lot I do put something together fast so I think it just depends and no judgement to either one
Exactly the working moms they don't have time to prepare D those long ass meetings so they can do is either they can cook all three meals in the morning or they can come up with something quick to make meals so right now I am a stay at home mom school yeah I can feed my baby all the nutritious food but for the working moms yeah that's truly a matter
