Hey guys, for this one I just wanted to hear your opinions on the fintech space. As of recent there's been a lot of these companies that have come out with online banks, as in they don't have an in-person branch. In the UK I've been using the bank Monzo quite a lot. I use it when I travel abroad. I get the best exchange rates. I don't pay anything to use my contactless card over my Natwis. So I feel like as of recent, online banks are just really doing it for me. I'd like to hear your thoughts.

Obviously the level of depth and width that they have in their offering, the licensing and so on. Most of the online bank that you see, they don't actually necessarily have a banking license, they just get it from other banks.

You're looking at a level of trust that they just don't have. Still to this day, looking at something like a Monzo, they have millions of customers, but a very, very small fraction of that actually use them as their primary bank accounts. People prefer a digital bank for ease and then a legacy bank for trust.

So yeah, I'll stop it here because I can't keep adding these responses, but the neo banks digital banks they've got a massive amount of progress going on and they're brilliant but traditional banks still do hold the the torch, unfortunately.
