This is a question for everybody that's really good with technology. So, my iPhone's about 7 ounces. If I download a lot of files onto it, will it start to get heavier? And eventually, would it be too heavy to carry in my pocket? Also, would this happen on Androids? Thanks in advance.
Hey, so I know there's a lot of misconceptions about this, but my nephew is really good at continuing the conversation. I'm gonna tell you, the way this works is that your phone has a semi-touch screen, so you can't see the screen. One time, it only had a flash.
Yeah, I don't know how that happened. I'm gonna talk to my nephew about it cuz every time I start talking this app my Spotify starts not just, I don't know how it turns out, it's just too fast.
Good sir, please tell me you are trolling. No, it will not get heavier It will not get heavier. You okay? It doesn't work that way. No, no You can dump as much as far as as long as the operating system tells you it's full. It's full.
It creates a reference in memory and then the memory will basically tell whether to save the file. Your place where your phone is storage is built up of like a small you could call it a hard disk and that's
This doesn't expand when you saving a file. All it does it creates a reference in mem it creates a reference to it. That's all it will never expand It will never expand physically it will expand in terms of memory.
So I don't know what you're going on about thermodynamics or whatever. All it does is it says oh I created a file create the reference over there boom keep pointing to that reference and every each time that reference keeps changing or moved or.
It creates a reference, keeps moving, keeps changing, boom, whatever. If... It will never, ever impact the weight of your goddamn phone. It's impossible. That... It doesn't make sense at all.
Now he's got something You still build up files you still build up storage you still have to replace the storage and add new storage so yeah That's wait
At the end of the day you build up the capacity of the phone to where you need to have more storage Then if you add more storage to the phone it adds more weight Therefore it does Have a great day.
But that also depends on what you're using because I mean you can have unlimited storage through internet and stuff like that by uploading your files and then downloading them to your phone again but that's not stored on your phone still so you know.
I think so, because if you download a lot of files, I think your phone gets heavier, but it has the technology to keep it light and stuff. That's why your phone gets heavy when you have a lot of stuff installed. Because it's trying to make it not heavy, but it's heavy.
In the future, I'm sure they will have this happen especially with iPhones, you know That the more stuff They put in the new iPhones the heavier is going to get More data
And yes to answer your question storage is a weight in itself once you build up the capacity You have to add more storage unless you updated to the cloud or something like that Which isn't actually on your phone you have to download it onto your phone each time
