For me, it comes from many different sources. I am a seeker, but I also feel like I let it find me, like it finds me, and then I wanted to find something really interesting. I go find out about that artist and all the artists connected to them.

A friend will recommend me new music or if I'm hanging out with my friends and we start playing music, we start putting each other onto music.
