So recently on a podcast I was listening to the co-founder of one of the largest companies in the world predicted that the next billion pound company will be a mixture of tinder and AI what he said was that due to the ever increasing loneliness epidemic and the fact that people are getting to relationships less and less people are going to go to the Internet and AI for their romantic and emotional needs so whoever can create the best AI robot to fulfil this and basically create a robot they Can Cater themselves exactly to a certain persons needs emotionally mentally and everything else will win who knows maybe in the future physically to

Very interesting concept this and to me I think it just sounds a bit sad but I I think the more and more this will happen, it's going to lose out on all human connections eventually.

But then again, if AI could replicate our as humans, then what to say that that's too like that different from falling in love with a person. I don't know, it's interesting.

I think there is a pretty big difference between falling in love with a natural person that you can see in touch versus a robot but then those robots are as real as a person you can see in touch maybe not I don't know scary concept but yeah

Also worth bearing in mind that a lot of the target market here are people who genuinely feel they will not ever be able to make a connection with a human. So ultimately you are giving something to someone who otherwise may never have experienced it and that's quite beautiful.

You know, it's almost comparable to, well, currently in the movies and so on, they've got these. Like, it's like the Matrix where people who are unable to live full quality lives, they're just set in a computer program and they can live out whatever dream they have. Yeah

Those are actually very interesting viewpoints to see that weekend. Yeah, definitely it raises some thoughts around the subject that it might be beneficial to some people, but yeah, still scary.

Absolutely I'm not here to pass judgement on what people do with their own love lives so there's no it's not a case of right or wrong and in my opinion it's just a case of observing where it looks like we're going

I mean for sure it's gonna spell the end of humanity as we know it, don't get me wrong, but knowing how people will respond to these things, I wouldn't be surprised if it happened. I'd obviously be quite disappointed, but I would not be surprised.

I totally agree with that conclusion. Sometimes technology is going to fulfill those emotional needs, but it's never going to replace human interaction.

Yeah physical contacts can be hard to replicate but eventually they will come up with I mean I've got these are human like those that people use for hugging in and other things we know imagine we can do with these robots in the future

I think you'll be interesting to see how far they go I've always imagined a world like I don't know if you guys remember the film I robot with Will Smith I've always imagined society going into that direction so I'm not shocked

Yeah those movies are scarily accurate I mean if you look at black mirror for example a lot of episodes in black mirror have essentially come to life so I'm not surprised of things to go towards a robot or even worse films

I think with people feeling more isolated the rise of dating apps and essentially people just becoming more and more desperate to find love it is alternate routes of whether it is an airport or something else people just wanna find of her

I guess another robot doesn't have real feelings and kind of generate something I would resemble real feelings to a person and letting people fall in love with different things all the time I can imagine robot could do that too

I think this will be good for neurodivergent people or people who are so physically handicapped they could probably never have a relationship so this could fulfill some of their desires.
