So it's April 1st today and so April Fool's Day is here and obviously April Fool's Day is like a fun holiday where you Come up with fun things that aren't true But it just begs the question for me that do you ever think there's a time when it's okay to lie to your partner or the one you're dating and And for what reason would it be okay?

I think lying to anybody is pretty problematic let alone the person that you love and trust and I meant to be in a committed relationship with I think that's a bridge of the boundary that I think is hard to justify

Know if they ask you some thing I feel like you should be honest with them 100% because you will want them to do the same to you

I don't think it's okay to lie to your partner ever. I think that trust is definitely putting blind faith into your partner. Not completely blind faith, but lying to them, like who are you scared of them? I think that's really weird.

Right? Like, nobody gets into, like, any relationship period, friendship, with the fact that you may be lied to in the back of your head. You trust, that's why you have friends and a partner. You trust that they'll tell you the truth. But once you start lying to people, it's like, oh, it's just a pretty slope.

The example is when I went to surprise someone in a different country and I basically said I was going to visit my aunt for a couple of days who doesn't have or didn't have mobile reception back then which is very true but instead I flew to this country.

And it was a big surprise, obviously all of that, it was a bit of a risk but I also had to make sure to test the waters that I knew this person was going to be home, I knew this, I knew kind of what was going on. But yeah, and save and return. Obviously that's lovely.

Yeah, exactly that. And I think it comes down to how I see both whether we're talking about information sharing, behavior, etc. etc. To me, everything comes down to intention rather than the actual act.

It is obviously not OK since you're basically playing with the trust between your guys so it's enough for me

I'm on two sides in this. I think I'm someone who loves surprises. If it comes to having to hide something or hold something back in order to provide a very exciting surprise later I don't think that's a problem.
