So last night was kind of stressful my two-year-old and I want to go to bed and I don't know if there's like a regression or some thing around that age I mean I know there's a lot of like things and changes happening but yeah she just didn't wanna go to bed like she just didn't wanna be put in her crib anymore she didn't even want to be with me she didn't want to be on the floor like it was stressful I just wanna know what do you does anyone have any tips or things that they tried when their little one was having trouble going to bed I'm thinking maybe it could be something to do with her like being aware that it's like the dark so she might be afraid of the dark or you know I don't know if she's just kind of curious we tried putting a nightlight in there but she just got super distracted and kept wanting to touch it But yeah does anyone have any advice on how to get their toddler to go to bed at night
Well for my kids when they were babies they definitely did not like the dark either so I did give them a nightlight and eventually they got used to it and stop playing with it but also try reading her a book to just like calm her down and calm her
And to just like calm her body and her little thoughts and whatever else is going on in her mind you can also try like Bedtime music is what my kids call it, but I just go to YouTube and put in kids bedtime music.
But I just go to YouTube and put in bedtime music for kids and it usually pops up with all kinds of different things and and you can try like a nice warm bath before she goes to bed using the Johnson & Johnson.
like the lavender calming body wash and they also have a lotion and that really helped out too because for some reason it just calms them and relaxes their body or if you have like a sound machine or something.
Those are all really good tips so thank you for that. We did have a lavender like pillow spray for kids or something and I completely just forgot that we had that so I'm going to try using that again and I like the music idea. I think I'm going to do that in reading.
