So one thing that me and my friend frequently used to discuss was something we called the three month rule. The three month rule is kind of based on the fact that you can't, if you're dating someone, you can't be lying about who you are for more than three months. So around the three month mark things about a a person you're dating that might not have come out earlier, might begin to show. It hasn't always been the case, but many, many times it's been proven. And I read an article about a psychologist that was kind of agreeing to this phenomenon as well. And one of the reasons is that because it's so hard to lie about yourself for that long, the secrets are going to start spilling. also another point at six months where it gets even more. However, me and my friend just always found this fascinating and it's been true so many times. So what I wonder is that do you guys have any stories like that that after three months or six months that you started noticing things to change? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.

Three months is a very long time. For anything. That's my opinion on that.

I thought it was plagiarism, because I've lived and Errol deserved a lot about this, by three month rule but not related to lying about who you are but related to how much you share about yourself.

Essentially the concept has to do with how emotionally attached you get to someone else. And after three months is the point that I've experienced with multiple people that you You get too close such that if something then gets revealed it means a lot more.

Hence why in the first three months you get you have the opportunity to share all the things that would otherwise be sensitive like X partners any stories that might come up later that would be hurtful if found out after you have strong connection.

And my prime example on that is for example if you find out after three months that actually your partner's friend and your partner used to date or have slept with each other and so on and you find out later that becomes pretty difficult as opposed to finding out before.

That's super interesting. Thank you for sharing that. I do think that the longer, you know each other the harder it's gonna be to hear those things and and I've just never thought about it being like a three-month rule to that as well.

But it does make a lot of sense, so technically if you add your theory with mine, it's basically to tell as much as possible about yourself for the first three months, and then stick around for after the three months to see if they've been lying or not.

Yeah exactly that. You've got that three month cush off. And that makes sense. I mean, it's not something that's set in stone, but that tends to be the timeline that works out more often than not.

I mean that's probably because y'all didn't know each other well before y'all started dating like y'all didn't actually get to know everything about each other or you either just jumped into dating like immediately by the way just don't date
