OK so I'm very big on mental health and when it comes to work I am and I feel like I would rather take a job that was lower pay but amazing company culture versus a job that was double to pay but the company culture wasn't as great because I just care about my mental health too much but I'm curious as to what you guys would say

I've taken a job for about $8-$10,000 less before because the benefits were amazing the people were amazing the culture was great healthy plenty of time off wasn't toxic

Now that I know that working at a non-toxic place is possible with great benefits, I won't ever take a pay cut again. But at that time in my life, I think I needed it and it was worth it.

Yeah honestly I'm the same way I've worked at a very toxic place and then worked at places that are super healthy and culture is amazing so I would also take a pay cut for a better culture if they came down to that

Yes, I would take a pay cut if the culture is great, like you said. I have worked in lots and lots of toxic places, something called office politics and I never we will do it away. It is going to go on for lots of office hours. I think this is where it's going to work, trying to get some workMm. I think we have no other starting you gonna walk. I always stick veryetics

I never knew what that was until recently. Yeah, I've worked with some horrible people. I'll never go back to that. So if there's a pay cut and the culture is great, I would do that. but I never found out that's why I do self-employed.

Yeah, self-employed, no colleagues whatsoever, no one to make me feel horrible. just no bad vibes, bad environment and very good mental health space.

I am actually so happy to hear that and I'm glad that you got out of that because I feel like if I don't realize how much work can affect your mental health because I used to work at a place I absolutely hated for like two years I don't know how I survived the tears but good for you I'm happy

I think it really depends when you say like a whatever culture if the culture is really toxic and it is very negative then to me the money isn't worth it because I'm going to be stressed out and probably have mental issues because of it so money doesn't buy my health.

When I'm working in a job where the culture is positive and it's conducive to me being productive and efficient, then I can find creative ways to make more income as I am wanting to work there so I can actually elevate my role.

Obviously we all need to get our bills paid but I always ask people like what is your health worth and at the end of the day even if you're making a ton of money but you're having a mental breakdown and your health is suffering then it's not worth it in the end.

I think deafly the double pay because of the policy I won't really be to invest into my job emotionally that I really care about the coach that much so I'm getting paid good money and I'm doing go to my job
