Let's talk Trishen for a minute I know traditions really important and a lot of families and I feel like it's especially important in the south every year I feel like goes out in the winter gathers together around a huge cast-iron kettle and we cook a steel and Brunswick stew We use the same sticks to stir the pot that we've been using since 1976 the same stick that our ancestors before us used and now we're carrying on the tradition we're teaching our kids young this is my 10 year old son my 10 year old nephew and my four year old son learning to stir the pot and make the stew We bought chickens potatoes tomatoes corn and we just stir it all together lima beans to until us all season together then we sit around in the cold February day and enjoy the stew we made together It's not much but it's tradition and it's honoring our ancestors
