I had an epidural with both my kids and for my daughter it was fine, but with my son they had a student intern that was there and they asked me if it was okay for him to insert the epidural and I said yeah because I wasn't really sure like

I just kind of assumed that like even though he was an intern like he was experienced enough And of course he was experienced like he's done it before it wasn't like his first time but now I have severe back pain and they think it's because the epidural was placed wrong and so yeah

So for me personally, when I have my next child, I will not be having an epidural just because I don't want to have more back pain than I already am.

I did not have an epidural. It's just because the pain, my contractions were not as bad as I thought they were going to be. So it was a bearable pain.

I personally got the epidural even though I was terrified of needles and it was only like a little pinch but it still kind of hurts but I will always go with an epidural no matter what.

Totally feel you. I was trying to go natural and not get epidural, but I couldn't take it no more I'm not terrified of needles But I was terrified of epidural just because you have to stay so still and one mess-up can just ruin everything so yeah.
