Let's talk motherhood mental health a little bit. So like I really struggle with mom guilt and like yeah I do have my own person I do freak out sometimes and like what mother doesn't really But at the end of the day, I feel just so guilty and I am working towards it and on it and just to be better for myself and for my daughter I just I've just been struggling lately and I feel like this whole month has just been like a complete shit show I am not liking March at all It's just a lot on my mental health.
Okay, so Step one is to create new neural pathways So when you catch yourself having that mom guilt force yourself to go through 10 to 20 things that you did right in ways that you were an awesome mom and start focusing on that
At the end of the day, you are doing the absolute best that you can, and any given point in time, seriously, there's never like seriously when's the last time that you woke up and you're like, I'm going to be the crappiest mom that I possibly can and traumatize my child. Never, exactly. So start focusing on the ways.
Definitely not alone mama I think we all feel bad at the end of the day for not doing enough or yelling once in while or you know it's normal and we all do it and it really sucks but it's no we all do it you're not alone
Yes I definitely have been struggling lately with feeling like extremely guilty at the end of the day it's been hitting me really hard lately actually I feel like it's just been a very rough month for me and others in general
Leaning on people in friends I can really help support you I would say look at where you could get support in your life because sometimes that's like the hardest part with mom is like we're doing everything and we just struggle so where can you ask
I struggle with mom guilt as well and that's something I'm trying to work through and also I'm trying not to like be so paranoid paranoid over every little thing. Like I feel like my kids have to be with me 24 seven. I don't know, I'm trying to work through it though.
