So everyone has religion, but there's only two spirits, the Spirit of God and the Spirit of the Enemy. If you have the Spirit of the Enemy, you're damned. If you have the Spirit of God, you're his child.
So I 100% agree with what you've said because I believe in that myself. The question was to get people's opinions and perspective on it and I really enjoyed your answer because that's literally how I feel.

Me personally, I'm spiritual, never been religious nor has my family been, but I'm not going to judge anybody on their religion as long as their religion aims to lift people up and inspire them instead of tearing them down and being toxic.
So my understanding is that religion requires a specific set of rules to practice the specific faith while spirituality. There are no rules to practice the faith of the person. That is what I understand the difference between both of them.
