Do you know what I can't stand in relationships when there's no communication when you're being blindsided because someone fails to tell you something that they don't think is important to tell you

When it comes to communication in a relationship, you ever notice how the communication is great when everybody's happy? But the moment that somebody is going through something like the little depressing, it's a little bad. That's because the psyche of your partner may be compromised and your partner may not want to communicate.

If your partner is going through a depressing period, they may close you out and not talk to you at all. So sometimes you have to kind of go out of your way to do a little extra just because of that. but as they mature with their own mind it will get better.

I like your answer that makes a lot of sense but when you go out of your way sometimes it's not reciprocated or it's completely ignored because they're still depressed still don't want to talk so so I would

So what are you supposed to do after you've gone out of your way and still not reciprocated

It's actually where the relationship starts to get interesting. So you start to figure out how this person deals with depression or whatever it is they're going through and then you start to figure out how much of a tolerance you have for that, right? So now you can say, I want to deal with this person anymore.

Also, you learn a little bit about yourself and you start to say that, you know, oh, I've been doing the right thing back to back to back. It's not being reciprocated. Um, there's no point in me to keep putting energy into this when the energy is not being poured back into me.

Exactly. I'm feeling this right now. I know moments are temporary, but some things just last longer than others. And when I'm not being reciprocated, when no one's listening to me, When I'm being emotionally drained, I'm over it.

We'll say this, you have to learn how to respect yourself. And what I mean by that is that's realizing that your happiness is probably one of the most important things in your life. And you may be a good person, but you got to start thinking, am I happy though?

And this year I want to learn how to say I'm done with something and be completely done without having to look back just excited for the future ready to move on

I think it's the point of actually being in relationship but we can tell each other everything I get to the point where it's like like so what are we but nobody asked what we are and then it just becomes weird and then we just turn on to be friends so it's really

Communication is key in a relationship. If you can't communicate with each other, then you have no relation because how can you relate to someone if you don't talk to them? Right? Right.
