Isn't the isn't the need to impress also based on fear? So like if you feel like you need to change yourself You feel like it's a fear of not being good enough, right? So you have to lie to impress. That's a fear as well I think all lies come from fear.

So I think it's going to be situation specific because there's a lot of people who you know aim to impress because they have underlying motives as it pertains to them wanting to talk to the person in the first place and they have some sort of like end goal or end game that they're going for so it kind of depends.

Yeah so but with this one I hear you you're saying that they lie because they don't like being uncomfortable because if they tell the truth the repercussions of them make them feel uncomfortable so they just rather lie so they can have an easy life.
