It's wild because, and I thank you for this post, I wouldn't necessarily say change is the word. I would say help. You know, do parents need help in parenting? We always assume they know all the answers, but they don't. Me and I'm a parent and a grandparent. It's a very powerful post here.

Um, you can't save your parents.

Learning this when growing up with toxic parents is key. They only can be who they are. They can't be who you want them to be. You can't choose what type of parents you have. I had to learn that shit. You gotta accept it. You know, and move on with yours.
