week trial alongside Combs, Sean was convicted. He was hit with a 10 year prison sentence for two counts of assault, reckless endangerment, and weapon possession. If it wasn't for God, I wouldn't be able to walk out here to talk to y'all today. I just want to say that this is a great exhilarating victory for Sean Combs. It's a victory for all of us because he was wrongly accused. These last 14 months have been very, very tough. I think we've actually proved his innocence. Eventually, Sean called out Bad Boy's founder for selling him out, including his own legal team. He sat down in an interview with the MCV in 2004 from jail. People probably have the impression that you're just consumed with the idea that, you know, justice wasn't served here and that somebody turned his back on you. It's not a matter of, you know, turning your back on me. Like, how do you call a witness to testify against your comrade? I'm telling you that she's lying and you're saying, hey, you know, well, she helping me. But I'm facing 25 years and you're looking at probation. Yeah, those are the things that, you understand, are unacceptable. You don't have to hold my hand. You don't have to do nothing. But don't don't try to hurt me. This woman was the most damaging witness of any witness. She was worse than the prosecution's witness, which destroyed me because the prosecution is saying I'm this belligerent, reckless, you know, OK, corralled fella.
