I don't have breast milk, but I just wanted to leave a PSA. There have been many studies done for the benefits of breastfeeding, so if at all possible, breastfeed, breastfeed, breastfeed. It will help your child develop.
The difference between baby formula and breast milk is like the difference between Fast food at a drive-thru and a home-cooked meal if at all possible Give your baby breast milk.
So while I do agree that breastfeeding is really good for your babies, I do not agree with you when you say that formula feeding is comparable to fast food restaurant food. I just don't support you there.
I was fortunate enough to be able to breastfeed my son for eight months, but there's a lot of new moms who really cannot breastfeed their kids and they try and try and try and they just can't and it's wearing on their mental health. So I think by spreading this information that's really harmful.
And I want to add that I am in no way trying to pick a fight. I just want to share my opinion because I think that a lot of new moms feel guilty already for so many things and I think that the way they feed their child shouldn't be one of those feelings.
I think breastfeeding is the best because my, you know, like your children will not suffer from malnutrition. So I say breastfeeding is the best, the best, the utmost best.
Yes I love that you don't like breast-feeding is not easy and for me personally I stopped at four months and I still have some in my freezer that my son can drink but personally stop pumping because it was a lot for me
And since it was a lot for me you know I like give it to you guys or you mom that can push it to a year or even longer like that is just great and amazing
I struggled with my oldest and I could only breast-feed like two months before my pants ganging up on me it was like you need to stop and give him formula
So I was so educated about breast-feeding that was my first she was breast-fed for about three months and then formula fed and then with my second she is currently president
I give you so much respect and props to even making it that far because breast-feeding is not easy you know it's mentally draining like my son never latched so I had to just pump and pump
And pumping so much was just like a lot on me and when I go back to work it was just even harder so he's four months and I'm slowly weaning him off of breastmilk
So I definitely give all respect to you for making it to a year and I know it's rough to stop but you got this mama you got this you are doing great and and you're amazing.
