Yes it is, it is looking for validation, because if you said that you're comfortable in your own skin and you think you look good, all that matters is your opinion, so why are you posting it? Now the pictures are public and now someone else has given their opinion, now you're upset because you want other people's thoughts to match your own and that's not going to happen. So if you're not looking for validation, don't post the photos from anyone and no one will tell you what they think.

I don't know how you can be so certain that she's not looking for validation, because the main thing of, if you're posting pictures and you're putting something out there, you can't make that claim that it's just for you, because just for you would be on your phone. So the moment that you publish it, it's open to the public for their opinion, right? And people don't post things for others to have bad opinions about them, hence why this woman is upset, you know, about being called certain things.

yeah but that's a contradiction how are you posting pictures for you because at the end of the day when you take a picture that's for you when you post it is for the world so that's a contradiction people don't post pictures for them they post but as a matter of fact if you do post pictures for you it's for your ego and you're seeking validation for your ego if you like how you look subconsciously you want others to like how you look too and you would appreciate that same
