Do you count your macros or calories one planning your meals I personally like to count calories as is the main numerical so like benchmark when counting like your calories counting just in general just for your kind calories I think other people like to come across but I really don't understand why I am well I'd like to educate myself by me sooner or later what about you guys
Sometimes I do sometimes I don't sometimes I go while was tracking everything but then I take a break from it just so I don't get super obsessive over it But right now I am tracking my stuff though
I personally don't track. I'm a personal trainer. If people are interested in tracking their food habits, I usually have them track macros versus calories because with macros you get a better understanding of like what you're eating and how much you're eating. With calories it's just like how many calories you're consuming. So you could be like still off track but you know meeting your calorie count if if that makes sense. So macros for sure.
Just to expand on that a little bit more so if you are counting your macros you're gonna have to get like a scale to weigh your food and like have an app like my fitness pal and input all of your food in there and then it'll give you a good idea at the end of the day like how much protein you're eating how many carbs are eating how much fat you're eating and that gives you a good overall lake view of like your nutritional habits
No when I first started my fitness journey I used to be very like a stickler on it but now I just intuitively E and before I feel like I see you like over Eli but now I can't see in Tom satisfied with I think it's better if I don't feel I need to really track
So I always keep in mind calories I don't actually count them but I take a look at everything and kind of do some math in my head I'm not super strict on it but I in my head I keep track of like with carbs I'm gonna have to at the day protein my vegetables and such and kind of just go from there I noticed when I like a really track I don't do as well
Are used to count mine because it keeps me accountable and I should actually try to get back into it it's just been hard lately especially when you're busy it kind of goes back of your mind but I'm trying to discipline myself more so I can get back into the habit of it
