Do you feel makeup embraces your features or hides your flaws? I was having a debate with one of my friends about this and personally I think makeup embraces your features and it brings out a certain confidence and it doesn't matter how much you use or what it's for. I feel like makeup is a great way for someone to feel on top of the world. And there is really nothing wrong with that. But my friend was telling me it's more about insecurities and covering something up to basically take away from what's really there. And I don't know, what do you guys think?
I think makeup can. What I think has happened, social media filters have kind of blurred the lines of how we perceive ourselves versus how we really look. So we're always after that and you can see that even in cosmetic surgeries.
This is a great question. It depends on the person. I mean, that's my opinion that it depends on the person because I love makeup, I love wearing makeup but it's not because I'm insecure, you know what I mean?
I am braces my features like mascara cause my neck my ass but bitch my lashes that like naturally way down but then when I put in mascara like that shit goes up
I think it does both I have like a little bit of uneven skin tone because I used to have eczema so it's a little you know not perfectly the same colors so it hides my flowers but I think it all
I think it's just art like I don't I'm not trying to hide anything I'm not trying to embrace anything it's just I like putting on as therapeutic as autistic as whatever the fuck you want it to be
I think it's about that does embrace your features and makes you feel confident and it also could hide your flaws if you know you feel not confident about certain things but I mean either one it's not bad
I feel like it depends on the person. It can definitely enhance your confidence, but it can enhance your insecurities as well. But it just depends on the person and what they're feeling like they're using it for.
