I want to take just a second to talk about how I've just noticed how many more women going to the gym and lifting weights and I think it's just become so much more popular over the last 20, 30 years. I've been going to the gym for about 10 years and lifting weights for about probably eight or nine and I'm a personal trainer and nutritionist so I feel like I've seen over the last 10 years just the rise of like more women and especially younger women like I go to the gym maybe four or five times a week and I see so many women in there now and it's great and it's empowering. I feel like I just used to see so many men and I used to be kind of like and you know not alone because there was women but there's definitely much more now and it's becoming more normalized. So let me know if you know you are experiencing the same thing wherever you live because I definitely think I've seen a change in the last 10 years.
I think it's definitely changed where I live two more women are coming out of the gym and I love it I love seeing it Just because women deserve to feel stronger however they want to feel about themselves and work on their goals like we all have different reasons for going for me mostly it's to improve my mental health at its outlet so I just love seeing that that more women have been joining
because I feel like really, I just used to see like a lot of men. but now I really feel like it's almost equal like I see just as many women and men in there and it's pretty cool
I started going to the gym when I was 16 and I remember noticing a lot of women at the gym. 16 is like 9 years ago. And yeah, I didn't notice a lot of women, but I think because of the town that I lived in, a lot of... that was a popular activity to do and I don't know when it started to pick up like that in females, but I'm happy females are going to the German lifting.
Yeah, I'm in the same boat as you. I'm 25, so I would say about 9 or 10 years ago, that's when I started going to the gym too, and I kind of lived in more of a rural area, so people would be at the gym, but not a lot of women, so I'm interested because I've moved since then in the area I'm in more populated, but I feel like I definitely notice a difference.
I really love all the talking points that you have a peer I myself started weight training on about four years ago five years ago and started taking it seriously about three years ago just became a personal trainer about two years ago because I noticed that like I was trying to lift it but I didn't know what I was doing or how to do it so I went ahead and got my certification and now I've been a lot more serious about it so hoping to see some great results
That's great and I kind of agree with you. I feel like most women on here have agreed that more women are getting into it and I think that's really good. And I'm kind of similar to you. Like I've been lifting for like eight or nine years, maybe 10. And I got certified as a personal trainer back in 2020. So three years and it's helped with my form and other people and just like general overall health information which is great.
