So I want to talk about my favorite way to meal prep. I struggle with meal prep, but it really does help me throughout the week. And I notice on the weeks that I don't do it versus the weeks I do do it, I just have a much better week and I eat better and I'm more focused. So what I like to do, I'll pick a time throughout the week, whatever day, go to the grocery store, but I'll have meals in mind that I want to eat. So don't just go to the store with no plan, no ingredients, have a plan, know what you want to eat, at least for dinners and like breakfasts. And from there, you know, get your ingredients and then whether or not you cook it on the same day or a different day, it doesn't matter. Just have a plan for it. So I get really overwhelmed, grocery shopping, bringing it all home and then meal prepping the same day. I have split it up where I do grocery shopping one day and then I do a meal prep another day and I don't separate all my meals into little containers. I'll just make a big meal I'll put it in one to two bigger containers and then it's basically left overs and it's so much easier for me to handle and I just wanted to share that tip with you guys So if it's helpful, let me know and I also want to know what you do because some people have really good advice
You have the exact same nail prep technique. I wonder where you got yours from. Yeah, friend told me mine. Yeah, I do agree. you do it, and when the bus when you're done do it, you see a crazy difference.
Yeah, and this is like just what I've learned over the years and what I've tried that hasn't really worked well for me and what I have done that has worked well for me. So it's something that I've kind of just like put together myself and it works best for me. So yeah, that sounds good that you do the same thing.
Review/no prep is an issue especially in the mornings but I think normally come to me with my feet are really prepared and also saving cost cutting back on the cost per meal prep I like it was quite good
I would say breakfast is definitely a struggle for a lot of people to meal prep. What I've been doing recently, it's not maybe the best, but it's like the best option for me right now in this phase of life. I will get those like frozen burritos, make sure it's a good brand, but they've got protein and eggs and stuff in it. And those are like working for me right now in the days that I can't make something for breakfast and it's better than nothing right?
So I really want to start implementing this for me and my family and I have two little ones so it's like I have to make a meal appropriate for them and things that me and my boyfriend want to eat because we don't always want to eat the same thing as them and so yeah I'm gonna try to be try to do this we just moved into an apartment so it's gonna take a little bit to like settle in and like get things going but I do want to have like an overall calendar like meal plan during the week and yeah go grocery shopping and do exactly that
Yeah, and that does make it harder when you have kids and you have like your husband and you all want to eat different things So it's tough. So just do your best But you know, I would say know your staples like know the staple food that you eat for like meat veggies Carbs, you know snacks all of that and just make sure you have it on hand So that way, you know, time comes, you know what you want to make.
