So like I said yesterday my son's first birthday is a month away and I've started like ordering stuff and I don't really think like we're really gonna have a party per se because sadly I have no family to invite really and I don't really have any friends either so we're not gonna do a big party or anything but I'm still gonna decorate the living crap out of our apartment because you know I'm just really excited he's going to have a little party with us but I'm doing like a hey bear sensory theme which doesn't really exist so I'm making a lot of the stuff and it's really exciting and fun and yeah so what were your babies first birthday party Siems did you have a party why or why not do you still decorate like did you do the cake smash and pictures and all of that just tell me all the details about your kids first birthday parties if they've already had it

We had a backyard luau in my parents backyard It was actually way too much. We spent way too much money. It was unnecessary. I Don't regret it because it was a fun time and the memories, but yeah, I Totally support you just keeping it simple and not doing the most because they don't even remember it and I'm not Doing anything for her second birthday crazy We're gonna probably do like we should have did last year and just have a cake

I am for all three of my kids first birthdays it was just us and their siblings I decorated the house I made them a cake and we had dinner but we didn't really have much family and now that they're older we try to invite family but all they have is their cousins so we don't really have a lot of people that come but we try and make it the best we can for them

For my son's first birthday, we didn't have a car so we really didn't do a birthday party. We just kind of hung out with our neighbors in our apartment because we were really close with them. I got my son a cupcake. I made him his favorite supper. overall a lot of fun.

So for my first my sons first birthday I actually did like a picnic gathering it was literally just like 10 of us maybe 12 and if we did at a park and I hired somebody to set up the picnic and it was actually really nice I don't regret it everything in total was like under 600 parents 600 so yeah was nice I loved it

My daughter it was during Covid so we didn't get to do a first birthday for her so we just did like a little indoor thing and then her second birthday party was pretty sure everyone we had to like everybody over but for my son he's gonna be one in on May 2 and we're staying like a very small get together with everybody and I don't know if I'm gonna do the same I think I'm gonna save the theme thing for the second birthday

So I had a Miles is one happy camper themed party for my son I invited my close family and more sick people with kids five years and younger I just if I was going to buy stuff I wanted to buy it for one specific group page like the jumper or the play area I wanted it for five and younger I didn't want big kids there so it was nice
