All right so I kind a need you guys to settle a debate for me I want to know what age do you consider a toddler like when do they go from baby to toddler because I was saying like once my son turns one like you know it's toddlerhood like toddler to starting but my husband is like no they're not a toddler until they're like Jewish but I met him when my stepdaughter was like one and a half pretty close to two I think maybe like one in nine months and I definitely considered her a toddler at that point so I don't know I feel like one maybe not like first when they turn one but definitely probably one and a half I would say they're toddlers What do you guys think is it one or two or somewhere in the middle
I refer to my one-year-old sometimes as a toddler mainly because she started walking around one but if not by the time they're walking then definitely by 18 months I would consider them a toddler.
OK yeah I definitely agree with that I think once they're walking they're definitely like purging that cop and hitting that like toddler hood mile stone
see that's another hard one I say like four but like early four like I feel like late fourth or getting out of being a toddler but maybe like three three or before I guess.
Definitely once they hit kindergarten but for some kids with like the whole birthday thing you know they'll be like six when they start kindergarten so maybe not like maybe kindergarten it's not a way to judge it but
I wouldn't consider them a toddler anymore when they're a bit more independent and start doing things a lot more on their own and without the help of mom or dad
I feel like what you're saying is valid. I feel like one is like going into toddlerhood but they're not like in full toddler mode until like like your husband two is three like when they really are actively getting into stuff like and can like communicate more than just the babbling so yeah. I feel like both y'all are corrected away.
Yeah I actually agree I think that it kind of depends and I think it kind of varies for each child when they like hit that mile stone or when they like bridge that gap I think it depends on like their maturity level and someways and like when they hit certain milestones so yeah I don't think there's like one right age
I kind of feel like it's more like a range or like a scale like I don't think it's exactly like you know on his birthday I'm not gonna be like OK you're taller now your one or like on his second birthday really OK like you're a toddler now like I don't think it works like that I think it's more of like a ranch
I feel like toddler hood depends on the child so like once they're like walking and they're walking is more sturdy and they're able to like get into things on their own and like they are babbling is more turning into talking I feel like that's the time of like toddler hood and I feel like that time is different for like kind of every toddler but it's in between that a like time age dra
I definitely think one I don't know I just I have heard it a lot once like they hit one like one to like for I know 5T still think but I think five is your not toddler anymore
So I pussy think that around one and a half day so I coming into them self assaulting emotions inside like navigating through the motions and how to tell them to us and everything and learning that on having us over there like but I don't think they become like a full on taller like an actual title and tell her like two that is the way I look at it I see the going up to it but I don't think I am tattoo
Yeah that totally makes sense I guess I actually kind of feel that way too I just feel like toddler hood is like beginning when they turn one like they're starting to bridge that gap
This made me laugh that sounds like something that I would say to my husband and then he's like what are you talking about he's a baby and I'm like no he's basically a grown man like it's so true though like dang he's basically like a whole person now
Yeah I think oh gosh my daughter started to walk like the day after she turned one literally she was crawling on her first birthday and then walked the next day because she got little hard bottom shoes for her birthday you know those old-school shoes oh man go get those if you need some walking happening but not too soon and then to for like 1 to 3 toddler
Oh my gosh that is crazy I will probably ball my eyes out if that's the case with my son because his first birthday is approaching and he's still crawling he just went from like the army crawls like actually crawling up on his hands overnight like literally one day he just started doing that like he's been doing it forever and he just doesn't really do the army crawl anymore so It's so crazy how they literally change overnight like that
