OK mamas I'm lost this is a whole new world for me when I became a parent to my step kids they already had their teeth so being a first time baby mom a first time biological mom I don't know what to do my son has his two bottom teeth they're like fully through you can start to see them when he's smiling but they're like fully out and through there they're so does that mean I start brushing his teeth now what toothpaste do I use like iamb oh my goodness this is just one of those milestones one of those firsts one of those new mom things like I said it's a whole New World and I'm lost so please recommend the best baby toothpaste and let me know if I start washing them yet
Oh I remember when my babies got their first tooth in 00 it's so sweet and so it's bitter sweet too because it's like they're growing up and it's like slow down
Okay, so I actually met with our pediatric dentist and he said, up until they're like a year old, you can just use like brushing, you don't have to use like a paste.
You can totally use paste. They do have some that are like fluoride free, but I think it's recommended to have fluoride in their toothpaste after they're a year old, but you only use like a tiny, tiny, tiny bit of toothpaste. nothing like we do.
My daughter already has to see a paediatric dentist and she's only 2 1/2 with brush your teeth every single day since she's had it and we just have soft teeth over here but when she's crashed that's what the paediatric dentist said
I would much rather use a more natural toothpaste though so if anybody has a more natural version or a no Bert's bees or whatever the hell I tried to Burpee's I don't one and it tasted horrible and I feel like I didn't work
See that's what I'm hunting for as well, like something more natural and a lot of the natural toothpaste that are for adults I didn't like or feel like they worked well either so it really sucks I really want to find something that's gonna work good but not
Is there a certain one that your dentist recommended her like I know in your case she's a toddler so they have like the toddler training toothpaste but I guess I just have to look for like baby training toothpaste maybe they probably you know the same brand as a baby one
So in our house we use Thom's the brand toms it's like a white toothpaste bottle with like I think either green or blue lettering on it they have a taller version of the children's version on the television doesn't have any safe to swallow
Yeah it's safe to swallow on for toddlers and my two year old likes using that one a lot but I think she likes sucking on like the toothpaste more like she'll squeeze it onto her toothbrush but then she'll just like suck the water and toothpaste off
Oh I didn't know the toms made children's toothpaste as well I will have to check them out that's really funny though about her just like eating with toothpaste I didn't know that there's like toddler safe toothpaste but I wasn't sure if like you also use that for babies or
But either way her toothbrush and gets done so we're fine with that and then I also use the same one for my tire for my my one year-old I guess just holler and she was like that's all
They make these cute little bananas that looks like a toothpaste toothbrush for them to chew on and yeah you can get like paste but just things for them to chew on is good at first
Oh my God we totally have one of those and I didn't think to use that as like an actual toothbrush like he just uses as like a teething toy but that's kind of genius I might do that because he's already used to having that in his mouth so it makes sense
So for toothpaste we use the Tums toddler toothpaste it is fluoride free if you're like hesitant on what products to use I'd really recommend the app yucca because you can scan your products and see which ones are best
Oh I have heard of that app but I keep meaning to download it I'm gonna go do that now like you talking about it that was just my sign I've been seeing so much about it and I really do you want to find like better products for him so I'm gonna download that thank you
Oh my goodness. So I'm a first-time mom. My son doesn't have his teeth yet but I I was also thinking the same thing, like, what's the best toothpaste for them.
Right? It's like one of those things that Loki really stresses me out and like freaks me out like just the thought of like brushing his teeth or like putting toothpaste in his mouth like Oh my gosh, it's like he's really growing up. But it's so scary.
Are used to get the watermelon toothpaste for my little brother and now I get it for my nieces I'm trying to member what brand it is but it's got a little water not on it and none of them have had cavities don't know if it's because of that but you're doing great
