The female body works on two rhythms as opposed to the male body. The female body works on the infradient rhythm and the circadian rhythm. With that being said, the circadian rhythm is a 24-hour rhythm that men go through the cycle of 24 hours. Ours is 28-day cycle. That's our infradient rhythm and we also have the circadian rhythm. So imagine all these diets, workout plans have been made for the 24-hour circadian rhythm as opposed to your female infraredian rhythm. Oh my God, I just got a tongue twister. But as you see why, most of these things won't work if you are not working with your body and learning your body.
