So I'm getting ready to go into my yearly physical appointment in just a few minutes and I'm sitting in my car making some notes of things that I just want to discuss with my doctor and I feel like when I was younger I never had any issues or questions. But now that I'm older and I have my son, I feel like I have some things that I want to talk about. And one of the things that's been on my mind after doing some research is just my vitamin and mineral or lack thereof, I guess I should say in my body. I've just been showing some symptoms and again, after doing some research, I wonder if I'm still depleted from pregnancy and postpartum. My son's two and a half now, so it never occurred to me, but after talking to some other women and some holistic doctors and really thinking about it, like I was pregnant for 10 months, he was sucking all the vitamins and minerals out of me, which I was already low on things. Like I've always been borderline anemic and then during my pregnancy, he just took all my iron. So I had to go in weekly for infusions for most of my pregnancy. Like things like that, I was already low and then I feel like he took the rest and just basic supplements that I've been taking haven't been enough to like get everything back up to where it needs to be. I was also severely depleted in vitamin D last year. So I know I also live in upstate New York so that's part of it too. And they had me on Mondo doses of vitamin D and I'm still not quite where I need to be. All of that being said, I'm very interested to go in and get my labs done and maybe ask for some more labs and kind of see where things are at because think about it, like you're pregnant for 10 months, your baby's taking everything out of your body and if you're already depleted to begin with, like they're just taking what's left. And then I didn't breastfeed, but I exclusively pumped for seven months. So then for, you know, if you choose to breastfeed or pump or whatever, for all the time that you decide to do that, again, you're continuously giving all of your vitamins and minerals to your baby as you're making breast milk. So like I really really wonder even though it's been two years am I still
