Considering that I think she is in some form of mental health distress that needs to be properly addressed, I think jail time would only exacerbate whatever is happening to her in her personal life and whatever is happening to her mentally. I don't think jail time would be the answer here in this case. In fact, I'm a proponent for changes in the laws.

Personally, I am a major advocate in seeing the justice system improve itself, laws changing, especially in more advocate kind of ways to help people with mental health issues. Because jail time, jail time is a hard place to be for everybody. And I think whatever is happening with her, it's not going to be resolved in jail.

Obviously, it is absolutely terrible what she did, faking, going missing, wasting police and everyone else's time. That is, that is in fact, extremely alarming. In fact, she did break several laws doing this, what she did, however, clearly there's something wrong and people need to look at the real cause, not band-aided.

I think people are reasonably upset. They're reasonably angry, perhaps. Absolutely. However, I think people need to put themselves aside, you know, and practice compassion. Even if they can't sympathize with her or empathize, you know, compassion goes a long way. You know, get her the proper help that she needs so this doesn't happen again. So, yeah.
