Normally, would you watch a movie with a happy ending or something with a more ambiguous, tragic ending? Which one do you prefer? For me, I would prefer a happy ending because, I don't know, you feel good after seeing that. What do you think?

I feel like happy endings are too played out and then just everything is too perfect so I actually like when the movie goes a totally different direction or you know the whole entire family ends up dying in the end and it's just like chaos and stuff I feel like that's way more unpredictable and fun

Most of my favorite movies don't really necessarily have an a happy ending but rather an ending that just summons the whole thing up and it's not necessarily a sad ending as well it's just a good ending so if I had to choose between the two I guess a happy ending but honestly that's very predictable as much as a sad ending

I prefer watching a movie with a happy ending. Life already sucks enough. It's hard to watch a movie where the ending sucks too.

I like both. I like both. As long as the tragic endings like tragic in a thematic sense or like poetic, you know, that's fine. But if it's just like, you know, like a lot of horror movies end with like a shitty ending just for the sake of like, ah, it's a horror movie. After all that, we're just gonna, we're just gonna ruin all the progress we made and just, you know, kill the main person two seconds before the credits. Like, I hate that shit. Like, if you get me worked up over a character and then you just kill him for no reason, I'm gonna be pissed.

Is much as I get invested in movies and can get emotional sometimes I do appreciate him you know an unclear ending or unresolved like a bad ending because that's also reality you know in art imitates life so yeah I don't mind it but I do like a happy ending tune

See this is a really like controversial question for me at least just because like obviously I want to see a happy ending I don't want to leave a movie off on a bad note but also that can be really boring and you don't wanna watch like any sequels or anything they're like OK they already got their happy ending but on the other end if it ends with like a tragic ending obviously it's saddening and whatever but then you're really like anticipating the next movie and I just like has more excitement

It doesn't have to be tragic but I do like the ambiguous endings better. You don't have to give me a happy ending. They always come off kind of......fake as the word maybe? I don't know.
