So one thing I've noticed in forms of communication is that people have a preference whether it's texting or calling and so I want to know which one would you rather do because I will tell you right now I'm much more into texting. I prefer to have it that way if possible because whenever I'm on the phone like calling someone or even video chatting like FaceTime I lose track of time And before I know it, like, I need to, like, frantically do the next thing versus a text, seeing it and going, okay, I'll answer that person back when I'm not so busy. You know what I mean? So yeah, I would love to hear your take on this.
Hundred percent call if you're not calling me to talk to you some bullshit to communicate with me I'm not about to text you because where you cannot read people's emotions of a text and saw that she's childish that shit is done for like like call me bitch
Oh, I prefer the phone call. Some people drag on text messages for 20 minutes when the phone call could have just been two three minutes. If it has to do with work, um, yes, I prefer the phone call and then we'll write down on an email what was discussed on that phone call. Sheesh. Paper trail. Just for paper trail. Fonko please.
You know what? I am the same way when it comes to phone calls. So what I do is upon answering the call, I will inform the person that I'm about to set a timer for 10, 20, 30 minutes an hour, however long I have to allocate to talk to them. And when the timer goes off, they already know it's time to go. So we'll just hang up
As for the question, I suppose it depends upon the person and the reason. Some things are inappropriate to discuss through text, and some things are inappropriate to discuss through a call. And also, some people are energy drains, and I really don't want to talk to them. and I love to talk to other people so it really just depends.
There was a phrase out there where it's something like, when the meeting could have been an email, that's how I feel with calling. Like it could have been said in a text, but obviously for more urgent reasons, Of course, a call is definitely needed.
I hate texting. I feel like it is so disingenuine. If you want to have a conversation with me, call me. Now, if it's something like short like, good night, love ya. Okay, but like, don't bring me something deep and heavy through a text. I ain't reading all that.
It's kind of funny because I remember being like you know in middle school or high school and I always like wanted to call my friends and talk on the phone with them for hours and I would wait until like keno 7 PM or whenever the minutes were free But honestly as I've gotten older I'm in my mid to late 20s now I hate phone calls with people like I would much rather text and I know that sounds just weird but
I like calling better because I hate fucking texting a whole goddamn poem but like I kind of like FaceTime in more than calling and texting so like resigning is on more better like to me for my opinion
Garden again tough question I do calls a lot but I'm on texting as well you know I'm on Texan cause if you want to ring me I just can't be asked to answer but I'm on Texan so yeah and I don't have a time to call people but I do have the time to test them so and I will give them a reason why I don't wanna call them so text them
