This is why I wear my headphones and don't talk to other parents at the playground. So we go to the playground today. It's our usual playground. It's a really nice one that's a little bit outside of our neighborhood. So we walked there today and I get there and I have my headphones on and I like follow... My son's two and a half so I like follow him. It's all fenced in but I follow him around the playground at like a little bit of a distance because I won't have independence and I want to be able to play with other kids without me being like right on top of him and Also, I just like I'm not the type of mom that like goes out of my way to talk to other parents like I'm not social I'm a little socially awkward. I very much so keep to myself. So I have my noise canceling headphones on And I'm just kind of like scrolling on my phone I'm listening to a podcast and I'm watching him play and as I kind of like walk around the playground as he walks around all all of a sudden I start to hear yelling. So I paused my podcast and I was like, what is that? And all of a sudden I'm listening to all these women that are all like at the swings, like three women pushing their kids on swings next to each other. And then this other woman walking away from them freaking out. And I don't know what happened. The gist that I got was like that's this one lady's kid pushed another one of those ladies' kids and then something happened and the lady that was by herself told her son to lay out another kid. I don't know, they were all screaming at each other. And it was just like, I've never witnessed anything like this amongst parents at a playground. So I was really shocked. And then they kind of stopped screaming at each other. And then one of the moms that was with the group was like, oh, I think she's prejudiced or racist. And then later on, the mom that was by herself was talking to another woman and was like, they called me a crackhead. I'm a crackhead because I'm not 300 pounds.
