So I remember growing up, people would talk about their first jobs as in retail or fast food, sometimes from a school program. And it had me thinking, okay, let me ask here, what was your first job? I actually did something a little bit different. I was a personal assistant at 13 to a family member, and it was part time. It was really fun. And over the years, I grew in the company and got to do more things. And even though I don't technically work there anymore, it's great to see how far I've grown from that. Now that I do my own thing, it's been really, really helpful. But yeah, I would love to hear your experience.
Hi how are you hope you're doing great today what was your first shops in my first job was working at a store called shoppers drug Mart I work as a cashier I think it was pretty cool and I was always excited because I remembered about Tra cat started there and drink is also from Toronto Canada song child's all the Canadiens out there and Jeff Lynne to the Americans and that's why I was so excited working at shoppers drug Mart because of Drake
Oh my goodness, thank you. I hope you're doing well too. Oh my, I love Drake. Are you kidding me? I wish I could just pin your answer because that's just like the coolest thing ever. I would be bragging about that non-stop. I'm American so I didn't even know that was a store that existed so when I go to Canada I'm definitely I'm definitely gonna go stop by one.
My first job was in retail I work for the stationary shop the branded stationary shop in the UK and his work Fridays and Saturdays part time and it was quicker my money and it LOL
Mine was pioneer chicken and it was the worst job in the world I got sexually harassed so much and I was only 15 years old I had to get a work permit the owner put his nose to my nose and screamed at me spitting on my face to sweep better and then then man and his son came in and said we want to chicken breast as they were staring at my boobs so it was the worst
So my first job was at a retail store. I enjoyed it. It was really fun. I didn't work there long. I ended up quitting because my friends didn't have jobs and I was always calling in because I wanted to hang out with them so I just ended up quitting before I got fired so yeah.
Camp counselor but was a great camp counselor job because I live in California and that means it was beach camp counselor one of the greatest jobs I've ever had just hanging on the beach all day making sure no one drowns and everyone's having fun that was literally my job and sunbathing
So my first job was when I was 12 years old and I was a football or soccer referee you know whatever you call it depending on where you live but yeah I was a soccer referee for my township
My first job was at a movie theater and I liked it for maybe like a couple months before I got really really fed up with it especially because it was one like avengers endgame came up until like movies were packed and people were so aggravated all the time over their orders and just really frustrating
My first job was SeaWorld in Orlando Florida at a theme park and yeah that was my first job it was part time but you could like pick up hours it was good as the first job
That is awesome 13 height I was 14 when I was hired at my first job and it was a grocery store called ask use I was a cashier there and I've spent many years there as a cashier and I am yeah I got into the workforce early and I am Haven't really gotten out of it
Oh wow, we both started work around the same age. Yeah, 13. But my parents didn't force me into it or anything like that. I just like wanted to do it and I'm a full-blown workaholic. I own my own brand. So I'm a one-woman show with what I'm doing with social media marketing for brands and everything like that. So it's been really fun and it's definitely a little different than what what my first job was, but I'm very thankful for it regardless.
