Can you guys go a day without your phone? My wife and I are arguing about this and need to get a consensus. She says no, nobody can. It's impossible at this point. I think you can. I mean, depending on... You can set yourself up, right? Like, you can just stay home all day. But can you guys do it? Let me know. And be honest, be honest.
Alright now the boredom would set in, I would have to be doing something, you know what I mean? I would have to have like an activity pre-planned To where it's like I knew I won't be on my phone like a fucking 13 hour hike or something
I'm like, you hit it on the head, you gotta be with good people, you gotta be doing good activities. You gotta pre-plan them, right? Cause you're like, you can't have anybody flake and you can't use a Google Maps. So it's like, you gotta meet up at the spot. You gotta do all that stuff ahead of time. and they got a plan like it's 1983.
I don't want skews me I don't want to start a argument or anything else like that but me and my husband have actually had this conversation before and I have actually proved him wrong I can actually go a multitude of days without my phone if I choose to but due to like how the world is nowadays you know of a phone of some sort is kind of needed for communication but a day yeah I like a whole for 24 hours
I love the confidence, Tiffany. I love that you challenged your husband. I love that you, your in-access to communication probably only hurt him. So that's, that's great. Love when you can and turn an argument into a W like that. very game changer.
I think it would be really really hard but I could do it it's just some thing that you know it's part of our every day life now and we use it constantly so it would be very difficult but I think I could do it
I like the confidence, Jacqueline. I like the confidence. What would you spend your day doing? Let's break this down a little bit if you're interested. How would you do it? Where would you go?
Nah, for me personally I can't. It's impossible. I'm not gonna lie. A day without my phone or a day without internet on my phone, it will be just crazy. I don't think I could get through that personally myself.
I appreciate the honesty. I feel like I, like I said, I would need an activity pre-planned. You know what I mean? Like something that could make like a 13 hour hike, something that can make you really tired to where it's like you get back and it's like you just knock out, you know? So it's like most of your day is covered. Most of you know you prep the meals you do everything you can where you don't you can live without it
Oh Pixie, I didn't think of using another form of media to distract you. I had not considered that. I thought this was like a media blackout, but you found the loophole in the rules I appreciate that.
Yeah definitely discuss with it I was impossible but will be very difficult definitely very difficult I'm not sure if I'm not sure if I could go whole day without my phone
I... Staying home all day? That would be like you're setting yourself up for for relapse man. I feel like that's those days is when you get out the most. You literally like go for a walk or you go to a park or you go to you know some place that you've always been wanting to go to. You know what I mean? Like you don't have your phone. I don't know. I feel like that's what people always revert to when they're sitting at home bored that's just...
You can't I did a little experiment oh gosh like over a year ago where I stopped social media I don't think entirely but like I just did not scroll social media all fucking day or like the first thing when you get up or all of that stuff and oh my gosh I actually I painted a picture that I don't even paint crazy
