So some thing I do when it's warm and nice out like today I'm is once my husband is home I like to go for a walk by myself and my own speed I'm a speed walker for sure and so walking really slow with my kids I mean we do that during the day but like if I'm really gonna get a good walk exercising I go pretty fast I need to be by myself no one can really keep up I'm like I am very short legs but for some reason I can walk super super fast can't run I can walk So yeah that's just something I like to do I feel like I can think more clear when I go for walks by myself so if you're looking for some sort of self-care that's free and easy to do I would definitely recommend walking by yourself
I love that idea and that's a really great idea. I think I'm gonna start doing that for myself as well It's also some really great time to spend alone.
Yeah, honestly, I'm in such a better mood after I do that. It's just nice to be alone and like clear your head and nobody's grabbing at you or talking to you, just peace and quiet. I love it. There's there's nothing like fresh air and being alone.
Yeah we've been trying to do this to one of my best friends lives like right across the street from me so we're trying to implement like two or three times a week just going on a walk in the evening and I'm trying to get more active
Oh I love that it's so great that you can do that with a friend be so much fun to everybody to do that with I don't have any mom friends right now so usually it's just me but I'm OK with that too
So walking is one of my favorite things to do. I don't speed walk though, but you brought up a good point because I also, I can't run, I struggle with running. So maybe I should try to like increase my steps, like go faster. I don't know, hopefully that'll work.
I really wish I didn't have terrible terrible anxiety that like somebody's gonna come get me when I'm alone like steal me take me like but I Have terrible anxiety about that I am terrified that somebody's going to take me even if I take pepper spray pepper spray or anything like that I don't know. I just get so so scared I hope one day I can get over that fear because I feel like a walk by myself would just be so peaceful
That's one of my favorite things to do too. It's relaxing, get some vitamin D, some fresh air, and take a break from being on the phone and all the things that we're used to doing nowadays.
Yeah for sure it's definitely one of my favorite things to do anymore too it's like one of the only times I'm alone I'm kidding and can think clearly so I'll take it and it's like you know you're getting like he said some vitamin D fresh air and exercise it's just great
Play before I was a mom I was walking really fast just getting out of my head and like yeah I'm a speed worker too so I feel you girl and maybe one time I will do that by myself and I don't know maybe that would be better for me honestly but I hope you had a good day and happy Wednesday And that's about it
Oh, I love that. Whenever it's nice out, I've been trying to take kids to like a local park that's fenced in and I literally just walk around in circles keeping an eye on them while walking in circles just trying to get some exercise and like some sunlight and vitamin D. So yeah, I I totally get it and it usually boosts my mood for that day.
Yes for sure it's definitely like in the season of life one of my favorite things to do as a mom is walking I'm not of the kind of girl that like or just like walk on a treadmill I really do like some stationary work out where it's like OK I have a half an hour to hour to work out like I just get so bored and unmotivated so easily but there's something about like walking in like in a park or like around a trail this is so much more enjoyable And the idea of a fenced in park that is a very very good idea because non-fence ones are stressful
