So not long ago, Marcus Zuckerberg had to go through and have a meeting with Congress about Facebook. Do you think that they were as hard on him as they were the CEO of TikTok? and what do you think should happen next?
Hey listen I haven't watched it yet and I'm gonna go see if I how hard Congress went on him but he is just an M Pl. CEO he's not the owner of TikTok that guy doesn't wear a hoodie and talk like Zuckerberg
I'm talking about the CCP it's not a conspiracy to know that a couple of years ago when governments were on high alert and we're talking Belgium like it's not just the US right Canada that is just put in place
Shoe was put in place, Shoe's his first name. I don't know their names, but I do know this. I could look it up right now. But he was put in place like a couple of years ago as CEO. The owner is still the owner. he just isn't great for optics.
Zhang Yiming is the owner of TikTok still so we know that she was just see a figurehead and her but I can't wait to go watch the thing I mean I feel for the guy to talks great but somethings up
Yeah, I could tell you all about the CCP, especially having lived there for quite a while. I get it, but at the same time, they just didn't allow him to speak. if he had something that could have alleviated their thoughts, they didn't give him a chance.
I think they just wanted a chance to show how strong they were. They were not really the best at asking questions and they weren't really tactful. I didn't appreciate that as a human being.
A lot of the questions were repetitive and they only could focus on the questions that he couldn't answer directly because a lot of those questions require data and to be extremely factual in the approach and you can't do that on the spot.
And certainly he could have came more prepared for those questions, but how could you? Because you're never going to know what people are going to ask from person to person. It just doesn't work out that way.
And yeah, he should have came prepared, but the goal was for him to be put out there so so that they can showcase their strength, not really to gain knowledge or understanding.
They were so rude it was basically a roasting it wasn't a discussion I felt like they could've did that over zoom if they wasn't gonna let them and speak and it was just so gross like ill
Yeah, I didn't appreciate that. I feel like they just put him out there and left him for dead because they didn't give him a chance to speak and if he had any valid points that could alleviate the stress that they're having, he didn't get a chance.
I don't actually the world who has compared to Mark soccer the others the Google founders they were asking simple question but the one yesterday they were just too harsh and I think that just thought
You haven't seen everything that's been transpiring in the last 24 hours. I encourage you to look at that so you can really be informed. This isn't necessarily about Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook. This is about TikTok and their CEO what he had to go through yesterday.
Yeah they were schmucks like complete schmucks I wish I had watched it before I commented but my thing is his I-9 a DMG I will just never trust the CCP as you know never to but yeah hopefully by dance comes through
The only thing that we can really trust is to take the information and knowledge and be informed. That way we're not keeping ourselves in the dark. The more we know, the more we exchange and have this kind of discourse the better we all are.
No, I don't know how to compare because I haven't seen the one with Mark Zuckerberg and I haven't seen this one but the cof tiktok other than you know the snippets from tiktok video
Congress can give a fuck less about TikTok they want to release some debt so they're hoping since they all Chyna so much money that if they pressure them they'll sell for the algorithm which I think is bullshit but it's gonna happen
