If I could give a new mom one piece of advice, it would simply be find the right balance between being a mom and still finding time for yourself, for that me time, because you can still be a wonderful mom while still having that time for yourself. And I think that often times we feel really guilty for taking that time for ourselves, but when all reality, we need that time, we need that time to be a good mom. So what's your one piece of advice that you would give for a new mom?
I don't know anything about parenting or mother stuff you know but I'm pretty sure you will be a great mom. You will learn everything that needs to be learned for your kids you know every mom does.
Yes, I love that and I love that even though you don't know anything about parenting that you still knew exactly what advice to give because that's honestly the perfect advice.
I'd say that's awesome advice and having never been able to have any children, I would say just don't take it for granted in addition to what you said.
Yes, I completely agree. I love how you said that and I think that a lot of often times it is taken for granted, you know, having kids and so I think that that is a great reminder for new moms.
I would remind moms that there is no handbook for this. That it is flying by the seat of your pants and nobody can tell you what to do or how to do. And don't listen to other people's advice because it's your life.
You said that perfectly. That's so true. There's no handbook for it. And not only that, there's so many people that's going to have an opinion about how you parent, whether you formula feed, breastfeed, what have you, and at the end of the day, it doesn't matter what anyone else says, as long as what you're doing is-
As long as what you're doing is keeping your kids happy, safe, and loved, that's all that matters. And no one else's opinion will ever matter. So you said that perfectly. I love that.
