I recently made a TikTok about how I walked in to a family reunion with two kids and pretty much no one knew that I even had one kid and so I just wanna talk about that for a minute because that experience is hilarious to me now looking back on it so I was 18 when I had my daughter and then I had my son 11 months later so I was 19 when I had him so I had two kids at 19 walking into this family reunion where 95% of the people did not know that I had even one kid and when I walked in I kid you not the whole place looked at me like every single person there was about 120 people there they all looked at me in their eyes just popped and they were all coming over like oh my God I didn't know you had a kid like oh my god oh my God like let me hold and I was like sitting there like you never reached out once you never reached out once To to ask how I was doing or anything like of course you didn't know like of course you didn't know but let me know if you had an experience like this where like people came up to you and was talking about your new child but they didn't even reach out to you during your pregnancy or even knew that you were pregnant let me know
That is funny. No, that hasn't happened to me, but I was with my twin sister and her baby and everyone for whatever reason, they thought it was my baby and she had to keep telling them like, no, that's my baby.
yeah i have no idea how you accomplished that nobody knew about it but that's an amazing story to have honestly and like it's just it's just amazement because i feel like walking in it would literally just be so many crazy faces like what
So at that family reunion, it was like a mix of like all of my grandma's siblings and she has 11 siblings, all of their families. So like it was a bunch of people and like some of them like I barely knew, right? So like it wasn't like all people that I was close with. So like that's how I got to know my grandma.
That's how I got away with not telling everyone because obviously like I'm not close with 150 people in the family, right? Like I think that's why I got away with it. And then when I walked in, yeah, it was so awkward because the people that knew me, they were like, oh my God.
Girl, I would have walked out of the reunion. That is too many people for me. I do not like crowds of people like that, so I would have left and went back home to my safe place.
I agree with Taylor. I probably would have left. I am the most anti-social person. And going to a reunion by myself with two kids probably would have just stressed me out. That is a funny experience.
