A question for y'all, who in your house cooks dinner? Is it you or your partner? Or does it switch off? In my household, we switch off. I don't like cooking, I like eating, but our schedule will be so busy. I'm mostly at the house, so I'm about like 65% of the time I'm the chef, but I am so grateful that when she can tell I'm getting over it, she will just hop right on it even before I even have to ask. So it's a nice, it's definitely a nice balance.
For the most part, it's me. There's some nights where I'll ask my husband to cook something or he'll cook or there's certain things that he cooks better than I do. It just depends, but yeah, most of the time it's me.
Nice, okay, okay. Well, that's good that he is willing to help Do you have a go-to for you and him? Is there anything particular that if like he's not home for the day, maybe he's out like with his family or with the boys? You're like, okay. Well, I'm just gonna cook this for myself And then is there anything specifically that you make for him that he really likes?
So if I'm making something for him that I know he'll like I'll do like a Shrimp curry like a Thai curry with rice and then if he's making something usually I like turkey burgers He makes really good turkey burgers Yeah, or he'll do like a jumbalaya that I really like when he makes.
oh my gosh my mother's watering um yeah i'm sold on the shrimp curry i love shrimp and i love curry I am gonna do that. Um... What a good idea! Thank you girl.
I like this. Okay so before it was both of us we both liked to throw down the kitchen But now it's just me But yeah, no we both like to throw down but then sometimes we just be like mmm let's get some food because work would be whooping our asses.
hurt hurt hurt okay that's chill however it works for y'all but yeah work be like dog after work you do not want to come home sometimes and have to do more work no thank you but what's your go-to to cook do you have something specific that he likes to eat that you like to eat or like a like your goat like okay I guess I guess I should say, what is your go-to recipe? Yes.
Okay, no for real because I just don't like why I don't know why adulting can be so difficult sometimes but go-to recipe is salmon, rice and some broccoli with some cheese on it. So bomb, so so bomb or some like shrimp pasta. I'm so basic when comes to food but those are my go-to.
For the most part I'm the one who cooks I live on so I just live with my son and my brother so yeah for the most part because he's always busy with school and serve and he doesn't know how to cook so yeah
Oh nice, okay okay. Does your brother cook or he's like, no, I don't, I'm a boy, I don't wanna cook or it's like, you just know how to do it and you're totally okay with just taking the whole rain by then.
I don't have a partner but I'm manifesting one and that's why I wouldn't my partner cause I hate cooking but that's so sweet that yours cooks for you I fucking hate cooking like I absolutely detest all of it
yeah cooking can be a bit overwhelming between me and you and I guess whoever else listens to this on stereo whenever I had to cook like for myself sometimes I would actually cry like I was so used to people like roommates wanting to cook and me being completely okay with it and obviously I would cook here and there but yeah whenever I moved out and I live by myself I had to cook all by myself and a bitch fucking cried.
But time after time I realize hey like if you know the process steps one two three four five You can just go in and get out You know go with the kitchen cook it up and get out and clean up as Your cooking like don't cook and leave a home mess the whole entire time because it's gonna take you longer to do everything But yeah, my girlfriend has realized like I don't like cooking is a little bit of a struggle for me some days So she'll handle that which I'm blessed for sure But keep it up girl.
