all right which one is more stressful going to a doctor appointment or going to a dentist appointment? we're gonna assume the doctor appointment isn't for anything specific it's just like i don't know like a wellness check or like a nutritionist not anything where there's like a procedure involved and then dentist could be like braces cavities dental work or whatever Which one gives you more stress? That one's hard for me because I'm at the doctor a lot, but I would probably say I get more stressed out at my dentist appointments than I do at doctor's appointments, even though the doctor's appointments are more serious.
I gotta say doctor's appointment, I'm really, I brush my teeth, I wear my tanner, so I'm really scared of doctors. I'm here to do this appointment, so I'll go to the doctor's appointment, I guess.
that is so true and something i didn't think about like the dentist definitely has more certainty and like preparation time where the doctor like it can go downhill fast.
Him doctor for sure because going to a guy I know is actually crazy because you got to get like completely naked and like it's so intrusive and all that stuff while they're being so casual with it because obviously they see like 20 million private parts a day but then his appointments are kind of easy to me
I'm gonna have to say dentist appointments because when they're all up in your teeth you feel like a robot and they're just Just fucking up your teeth.
I feel that on a deep level. Some dentists don't even know like they'll make your teeth worse than when they started. That's what happened when I got my braces done and they like were trying to move my teeth around to look more cosmetically appealing but they kind of messed up and so now like a crooked smile it's so bad.
For me, I've gotten autoimmune disease, so doctor appointments definitely. I'm very good with brushing teeth and stuff, so dentist is usually a pretty easy thing. But yeah, doctor appointments usually always means blood tests, and I've got bad rolling veins, so that's always a fucking process where you gotta get stuck more than once, and they kind of dig around for the vein. It's just all around a nightmare to go in, and I usually have to go in once a month, so it's not fun at all. It sucks.
Oh no, that would not be fun at all. I also have an autoimmune disease while it's considered one. And yeah, I definitely... I relate to all of the blood work and everything, but I could not imagine having like veins that are hard to find. That's intense.
I'm so sorry that sucks. Yeah. Autoimmune gang fries up. Yeah, no, it's not fun. My veins are very easy to see, but they are impossible to get. And it always trips them out. I'm always like, look, I know it looks like you can get them, but I'm telling you right now, get the get the baby needle and focus, right? And they're like, yeah, yeah, whatever. And then they miss it. And they're like, oh, dang, you're right. And I'm like, yeah, of course I'm right. Thank you very much.
Do you know the last time I went to my dentist was around 67 years ago I don't know if that's a good or bad thing same the doctors like last time I got a check up in terms of like a blood test six or seven years ago
You're definitely like my dad. My dad has not been to a doctor in so long. He's only been like a handful of times in my lifetime Which is interesting like I'm glad you guys Stay healthy enough for you, you don't have to go often.
Yeah, what is it about dentist appointments that like freak you out? I know for me, it's just all of the sensory stuff like the bright lights in my eyes and like having to lay flat in the chair for like an hour while they do dental work and like having all the metal clinking in your mouth is just like very overstimulating.
