Okay, part two to my emotional unload and then I will probably be off of here for a little bit. So my dog, we've had her since we, before we were married. She's a rescue little pit bull and like two weeks before my, we got married, we found out she had cancer, homogenous sarcoma. We were given pretty much like two to three year life expectancy. Well, that was seven years ago. And she's had more cancer show up. We've had them removed. And the last time we had surgery for her, she's old. She's like 15. She's, you know, she's old for a pit bull. The last time we had surgery for her last year or before we had my daughter. So two years ago, almost, we said we weren't going to do another surgery because these like as soon as you remove one, like 10 more show up and they come back with vengeance. So we removed one huge one and then like five or six big ones came back. And the spot that she just had another one come in and bust, like so it's bleeding, is an area that there's not enough skin to like re-close for surgery. And even if we did that, like she doesn't do well with surgery and she's so old, I don't think we would do that to her again. like having a hard time getting around and everything so we are looking at having to probably say goodbye to her and it's just a lot. It's just a lot and I feel like I'm going through it all so alone. It sucks. So there we go that's part two. Um, yeah, sorry guys. I'm it's kind of just a mess over here
Again, I can totally relate to this too, and I am very sorry. Um, I just want you to know from one mom to another, you definitely have a friend in you go if you ever need somebody
Thank you so much Melissa, you are so sweet. I appreciate you so much. Yeah, it's really hard. We'll make it through but yeah, a lot of emotions over here. It's not.
I just know it's never an easy thing to have to say goodbye to you family pet because they are like part of your family and I was honestly starting to cry yesterday when when I was listening to your story. I am so sorry.
So I definitely know how you feel when you are talking about having to say goodbye to one of your loved pets because it is it is so hard and it's never an easy choice.
Oh my gosh I am so sorry to hear this as well and although I can't relate to this I'm just sending you so much love I'm telling you when like the universe just likes to pile on things back to back to back and just dump it all on you
That is so hard I'm so sorry for everything that you're going through and just know that I am always always here for you I'm always a message away seriously like you are an amazing person and I'm so sorry that you and your family are going through this so sad so hard
Especially with kids and having to explain that to them and help them process that while you're trying to process it yourself sending you all the love and strength and hugs and prayers and good thoughts and everything, all of it.
I love you so much. You are seriously the sweetest person in the world and I'm so glad that I have you as a friend Um, but yeah, it is it's really freaking hard And I'm the one who has to make the choice because I was a certified vet tech so my husband
Is like letting me or making me make the call pretty much so it's just a lot and I'm not looking forward to having to explain it to the kids because now they are absolutely absolutely obsessed with her like obsessed
So dealing with the kids is gonna be the hardest thing. Cause they love her so much and they are all about her every day. Yeah, it's hard. It's not fun.
When I was three I went up to his little puppies I'm like this is my puppy I have to have him and I need him Rocky because I loved rocks and then he saw the game the cancer and he had it removed once
I want to say I was probably probably like 1213 when my parents told me that I had to make the decision to let him go or not and I always called him I little baby face but I was really hard for me
Losing a pet is exactly like you lose your family member so I feel for you big-time because I had a cat a dog and a cat for 21 years of my life and when I lost them it was devastating
As someone who's grown up with I think more animals and family I can absolutely feel this. my brother was a dog and I'm so sorry to hear but thank you very much for sharing. It's a privilege.
I am so sorry that you guys have to go through this because animals are just the sweetest and purest souls and it's just so hard to see them go through painful situations.
It's so sad having to say goodbye to a family member that you've been around for a lot of your life. Just make sure if it is being put down to not be too sad because you want it to live its last moments around the people who are happy.
I want to say goodbye to the dog as well, you know, don't know where it is, where it's going, but hopefully If it's gonna die, hopefully it goes to poor Evan. If he doesn't, if you'll give
Oh girl, I feel you. I hear the pain in your voice and I hear you. Let the tears flow, big girls do cry, take all the time you need, you will get through this.
