I got my period when I was 10 years old so it's so bad for quite a while now and in all the years that I've had it the worst leg accident I've ever had was last year I was in New York and wearing a white romper and walking through Times Square just have an old Tamil touristy time and I. Drops and my whole romper is soaked I had to run into a store and buy hydrogen peroxide and salvage what I could oh my God it was such a mess I want to hear your most horrific. Story Talking about like super bad you've been through your dancing on Sunday I want to hear it all
OK my period warrior stories was I got it and I feel like I didn't know much about it like I didn't know you it happen for so many days I thought you just bleed and you don't bleed again for that till that month
And then I decided to wear white pants so I bled and I wore my pants cause I was like I bled already I'm good and then I bled again so yeah in public so awesome
Yeah I was in fifth grade 5th fucking grade like having to bring extra pants and panties to school because F fucking 10 years old like how great am I to do all this. Stuff
I got mine when I was 11 and I was at a friends house jumping on a trampoline and had really bad cramps and didn't understand why until I went to the bathroom and boom there was but I knew what it was after I saw
So like I wasn't one of those like oh my god why my bleeding what is this I knew what it was because my mom had to talk with me we had to talk in school so like I knew eventually I was gonna get it and when I got it I knew what to do
Yeah I was very fortunate that my mom had that talk with me as well so it wasn't like a super surprise but when I did get it the first time I was a latchkey kid so she wasn't home I had to call her at work and she had to like guide me to putting up a fucking pad on it's crazy
Oh my god yes like my mom had to show me how to put a pad on and all that stuff and I just couldn't wait till I was able to learn how to put on a tampon because I just hated pads like I still do to this day
My friends mom actually showed us how to use a tampon and my mom when I went home she was so freaking bad oh my God I'm a rush university let me hang out with them ever again because of that
My mom explains how to use a tampon over the phone and I still didn't understand so I kind of just like figured it out on my own but no my mom probably would've totally flipped out if someone else's mom showed me how to use tampon without her
Only imagine what it was so embarrassing or frustrating to you I have never had any of that the sort maybe just the little little accident but not that big
Where are you prepared like in knowledge wise when you got your period or were you just like having to call your mom like in a panic like what happened
Okay, so this is kind of going to be a kind of long story, so it's going to be a multiple reply, so basically I like BTS, right? And I have irregular periods due to a condition with my thyroid messing up my hormones.
And basically what had happened was like my pants had felt like you know how it feels like when you get your period and stuff. it had felt like that, but I thought it was just like the thing you get before the discharge stuff, you know?
So I went to the bathroom and I pulled down my pants and stuff and I saw blood and stuff and I was like, oh shoot, this had to happen today out of all days at the concert I've been waiting for for months.
So I quickly put toilet paper in my pants and stuff and rushed out of the bathroom and asked my sister if she had anything with her And she said she didn't so I had to use toilet paper as a as a makeshift pad for the next two to three hours.
And what sucked was I had terrible cramps walking back and since I was standing and dancing for two to three hours My legs were hurting too So I was having really bad cramps and having really bad feet pain for like a long time
I am walking back my family had to tie a jacket around me because I had stain blood through my outfit I was wearing and when we got home it was just a whole mess and I felt disgusting and stuff after
The moral of the story is please bring period products to any special event you go to. I don't care if your period just ended, please just bring period products to any special event. I don't want you guys to go through what happened to me, so please just bring Peri products
Kathleen oh my God I am so sorry that you had experience a concert like that but I'm glad you didn't leave the concert anything you took it out and yeah that's that's happened to the best of us I think I'm being without a product
